The Sewickley dentists behind your care
Dr. Lisa MacPhail, DMD
A proud Pittsburgh native, Dr. MacPhail has cared for patients at the Beaver Street office since 2017. She earned her undergraduate degree at Penn State and her Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. She keeps her training current through the Seattle Study Club, and her peers have named her one of Pittsburgh’s Top Dentists.
Patients of every age tend to leave her chair knowing exactly what was found and why it matters. Outside the office, she practices yoga, snowboards, travels for the food, and cheers for Penn State and the Pittsburgh teams.
Dr. Michael Guthrie, DMD
Dr. Guthrie earned his dental degree at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine after an undergraduate degree in industrial chemistry and management from Washington & Jefferson College, where he played varsity ice hockey. As an owner of Wexford Family Dentistry, he handles the full range of general and restorative care.
Patients regularly say he explains a problem plainly and never makes them feel like just another appointment. He lives in Shadyside with his wife, Noelle, and their three children and still gets on the ice when he can.
Dr. Sadaf Seddigh, DMD
Dr. Seddigh completed her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry at the University of Pittsburgh in 2024, after an earlier dental degree from Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, where she finished in the top ten of her class.
She has advanced training in oral surgery, root canals, prosthodontics, and restorative work, plus a certification in mental training that she draws on with patients who dread the chair. A published researcher and a member of the American Dental Association, she is fluent in three languages and lives in Wexford.
